Recently I have discovered that some churches open their own individual coffee shops in different areas of north Texas. I was in the area, and I drove right by and so I decided to pay them a visit. The interior of the coffee shop was designed with a divided look of updated and antique decoration to it: the entryway is painted white with a fresh clean look completed by plants and artwork decorating the walls, while the inner lounge and pick up counter area has a more darker, kind of cozy, tavern style look to it. Unfortunately their air conditioning was not working on the day I visited three weeks ago, thus I was unable to stay inside but I was still able to visit their drive-through. With the drive-through, it is pick up only and so customers must place their orders online and then they will have it ready when you arrive at the window. I did an Internet search for “lighthouse coffee bar” and I think I can remember placing the order through their website, it was pretty easy. Also, they did a good job of communicating with me when they had a question about my order and my order was ready promptly. I don’t visit Midlothian often, but if I find my way out there again, I will make it a point to return to this little coffee shop.😌

30 minute wait for two coffees.. I wanted to try a local spot instead of the typical Starbucks, and the good reviews convinced me to go. Wasn’t busy when we arrived, we were only ones at the counter to order. After we ordered it started to get busy, we weren’t worried about the wait since we ordered and everyone else who was there already got their coffee. But 25 minutes pass by and she takes two coffees to two other people that came in and ordered AFTER us. why? Shouldn’t be favoring others or forgetting others orders. There’s no reason (during this time) that our two coffees took 30 minutes to get. Once she gave the other customers their coffee I saw her begin out and it was done within 4-5 minutes. We wouldn’t return simply because it took way too long especially for not being busy at the time we came in. Coffee is good. Nothing special.

I went here on the recommendation of a friend and it was worth the trip. It was definitely worth the trip and the Tuscan Chicken sandwich and Galaxy coffee were a great value for what they cost.

Masks are required for all employees and guests. Tables seat no more than 6 people. Hand sanitizer is available and all tables and frequently touched surfaces are sanitized after use.

Yes. The outdoor area can accommodate up to about 200 people. Best practice would be to go online to www.lighthousecoffeebar.com/art. From there you can select the booking link, submit your information, and they will contact you from there.
Yes sometimes and they have open bluegrass jams on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday's of the month
