Banfield Eugene is not it! The staff are consistently disrespectful and unkind. My pets and I are more than a number. Please have people working here who are pleasant and kind .... it's difficult to even want to come in here - even though I have unused services on my plan.

Their prices for insurance plans are a little high, Getting an appointment in a fast manner is close to impossible, that being said though, the vets are very caring and truly want what's best for your pet. Dr Harvey is AMAZING and very understanding. Overall the staff is very friendly and they take good care of my animal.

Set up an appointment online and drove an hour to get there the day of. Their online booking system doesn't function properly, so they refused to see us for our scheduled appointment. They said they attempted a call, but I only received a text to confirm our appointment. Front desk was less than helpful.

After 15+ years of Banfield we have parted ways. The front desk staff do not conduct themselves in a professional manner mainly (April) after several dealings with her over the years and her short rude demeanor we had enough. We made 2 attempts to resolve one with her another with her supervisor, April simply hung up on us and her supervisor was rude and didn't want allow us to complete a statement. They took no accountability for the staffs actions not a simple we apologize for an escalated situation that could have been approached differently would have sufficed. Dr. Below is wonderful and she is what has kept us there over the years, but the lack of customer service is beyond acceptable. We homed 2 of our Frenchies and the new owners refused to go back as well for the very same issues. Move on there are other facilities available that will treat the public in a professional manner and give loving care to your pet.

Questions & Answers

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 18, 2020
Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 18, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).

I save a lot of money by having my dog on one of their wellness plans which includes all routines Vaccines, annual dental cleaning, bi-annual comprehensive exams, free appointments (fees waived for additional visits that maybe needed), and discounts on most other things you may need. It's definitely worth looking into.. because honestly no vet is cheap and this is the best deal/value/affordable care I've found. You can also use a care credit card there which is very helpful.
