We purchased a hamster for our 10 year old. The staff was really helpful, told us about the personalities of each hamster, and let my daughter hold each one before choosing one. My daughter picked out a really sweet one. They also let me son hold a bearded dragon. We appreciate this business and will be going back.

Everything was great, i just wish their website actually reflected what animals are present. The website has a statement that it is updated at midnight everyday(?) but in reality the pets they have available may be drastically different from what's listed. I drove a ways to see if there were miniature schnauzers as the website says but there weren't any. (There was a 2nd listing for schnauzer-mix puppies, which were present, but no purebred schnauzers) I'm pretty sure that the listings are a few weeks out of date.

The puppies are so adorable!!! This is a nice place to go to if you want to play with puppies or if you are considering adopting one. They seem to have a fast turnaround, so if you see a dog you love, put a hold on it! Just like any other pet store, it can be a bit smelly and dirty (especially since you can hold and walk certain dogs in the store). That notwithstanding, the dogs seem to be healthy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. *NOTE: It’s clearly posted that everyone who wants to hold or pet a dog needs to first wash their hands, and needs to do so between each litter as well. Also, some dogs are not meant to be pet at the moment, so please read the signs* I only point this out because I’ve noticed many people can’t or don’t want to follow the very clear signs.

One of my favorite pet stores. Lot's of great products for your pet's. It's also a great place to look at, hold and buy puppies. There are other animals as well that you can hold and or touch. Sometimes they even have kittens. If you just need a place to make you smile this is a great place to go. Puppies always brings smiles.

Yes, they're babies
I've seen people bring in their pets. I'm almost positive it's alright
I've seen hold tags before on animals but to be sure, I'd call them and ask 👍
Didn't see any as of 05/07/21
I don't work there but, am a regular customer. I see husky pups there pretty often. Probably best to call first to see if they are currently in.
Normally yes but we haven't had any since March due to shortages. You can call the store you are closest to and get on an interest list that we would call if they come in.
They often have cats and/or kittens but, not always. I would call ahead to check. I was there last week and they had some.
Yes, they are selling puppies at both Critter Cabana locations. However, you are not allowed to hold any of the puppies unless you are adopting them.
I know that petco/smart have ferrets of these guys do not. I would recommend calling them at the cabana though; far easier than asking a question here.
No im sorry
I have not seen ferrets at this location. But the selection of small furry creatures changes periodically.
Painted turtles are illegal to own or sell in Oregon as are most aquatic turtles. A couple species you could look into are diamondback terrapin, pink belly side neck, African helmeted, razorback musk.
No squirrels but they do have ferrets, guinea pigs and rats
The puppies are very expensive, even their mutts can sell for over $1000.
It seems like they do at the newberg location unsure of the wilsonville location
Yes like $17-20
Yes they do set appointments you'll have to call to make the appt.
They do not carry Sugar Gliders at the Wilsonville or Eugene locations.
Call store would be my advise
Havent been there recently but they definitely get corgis, super cute. Around $1k
Yes. Different prices and different sizes.
You could try, but their prices are in line with other places and the staff probably don't have the power to negotiate. They do offer deals on pets with habitats at times, so that might be an option.
