Spent 30 minutes on hold before getting hung up on. Can't get my prescription transferred to them because they do not respond to calls or faxes. I'm having to pay full price for my meds because this place is too incompetent to do the basics of their job. Not only that, I was told by my old pharmacy AND my prescribing doctor to contact Walgreens to get the scrip transferred. Only to be told by them that I had to do this through my old pharmacy. The one who never gets a response no matter how many times they fax or call them. It's rediculous and endangering to the health of their patients. In short, absolutely horrible on every level. Not the pharmacists fault, they're paid terribly, understaffed, overworked and untrained. Walgreens is just too greedy to do their job correctly.

If I could give a "0" or negative rating, I certainly would. My sister received a robocall Sunday 6/5/22 that told her multiple prescriptions were ready for pick up. She had one that needed a few days to be eligible for fill, so she waited until Tuesday 6/7/22 to go pick them up. As has happened for the past year, the drive through line was LONG, and we waited for an hour and a half (1.5 hours) in a hot car to get up to the window. After all that wait, they had only ONE OF FIVE prescriptions available for pick up. The pharmacist tech had such a tiny voice, my sister had to get out of the car and to the window to hear her and ask what happened to her prescriptions. They told her they had been "sold." We asked what did that mean, because my sister certainly didn't have them and hadn't picked them up. They wouldn't answer her. She was at the Dr's ofc last week, and witnessed him putting in her Rx for ADHD medicine, and was told there was still a fill left on the old script. Yet the pharmacy tech claimed there was nothing there. This was confusing and upsetting to say the least. She took the ONE Rx that was available for pick up and we left. They sent the store manager out to look at our car and see what was going on, NOT to see if he could help! We found out the LONG WAIT TIMES in the drive through lane were due to people coming for Covid testing, and sitting their butts in their car for 15 minutes waiting for the result!! FFS, give them the free tests that are being handed out and send them home to do it themselves. OR pull the heck into a parking spot and clear the line while the test is "cooking" like at McDonalds to wait for results. Needless to say, this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Too many times there have been 40' to 90' wait times and screwed up prescriptions at this understaffed Walgreens. These Rx's are being moved to a more responsible pharmacy establishment. My sister has had to subscribe and resubscribe to Walgreen's automatic refill service to try to coordinate her prescriptions. One particular pharmacy tech that didn't like my sister kept unsubscribing her from the service just to screw with her. This would only happen when one particular pharmacy tech was working. After she left it stopped happening. We've heard of this happening to other people as well. We don't know what is going on at this location, but if there is diversion going on, they need to get a handle on it. Avoid the Walgreens Green Mountain pharmacy!

This review is strictly for the pharmacy. I'm sure the store is better. A summary of the 4 times I've been here: 1. Waited for 30 minutes and was 6th or 7th in line at the drive through. 2. Came on a weekend during hours they were supposed to be open. But surprise! They closed for the weekend because they didn't have a pharmacist. 3. Waited in line for a reasonable amount of time. 4. Was 5th in line in the drive through and waited for almost 40 minutes. I understand they are short staffed. I don't blame the people who were working the pharmacy. I'm sure they are stressed out of their minds and doing their best. Clearly the problem is with the working environment at Walgreens and/or the pay that they can't be fully staffed. I highly recommend to get prescriptions elsewhere.

Understaffed or not, people working at this pharmacy are truly some of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I would also like to mention how unsafe and disgusting it is to announce someone’s prescription while there’s a line of 20 behind. I would give 0 stars if I could.
