Pacific Security has made me feel welcomed within the company. Considering, that I moved across country; I definitely do not regret my decision to accept a position with Pacific. I wish I made the move sooner. Pacific Security is a family owned business, that makes you feel like part of the family.

Very bad company they do not train or care about their employees or listen/help with any of their concerns if you do decide to work for them you better be ready for them to take almost $200 from you when you start (since you have to pay for uniforms and your first 8 hours of "training" which is just a uninformed person showing you a slide show that has never worked as a guard) and then the 2nd supposed to be paid training will just never happen and they'll proceed to schedule you at sites and never train you and when you have questions or concerns they become irrelevant as no one will assist you in the upper management or even supervisor levels they will just tell you to figure it out because it was something "unplanned" they'll say but will happen over multiple days even weeks before being addressed or communicated with employees at the respective sites the bottom line is unless you want to be treated unfairly as an employee don't work here and if you are thinking of using them for your company know they will send you untrained people to cover your contracted sites and will take no effort or steps to ensure people know what they're doing to protect your sites or property. Steer clear of pacific security.

Personable management and office environment. As long as you make your needs known and do good work on site, Pacific Security will treat you well. The key is being open and active. The assumption on their part is that the people they hire want to work as much as possible so they can make as much as possible. In that regard, they will not fail you. If you want to work a lot, or train for sites that pay a lot? The option is there. If you have other obligations or intentions, then being forward with them will get you what you want, and at the very least, what you need. I’m a full-time college student and my education is my main priority. I had to resign a few months ago in order to address a few personal problems and get a better handle on my grades. When I decided to come back, they welcomed me immediately and with open arms. They prioritized my schedule and offered me flexibility in case school toughens up again in the future. I would recommend Pacific Security to other college students (and any anyone else with scheduling restrictions) and to those that have presence—the line of work requires it and the company rewards those that have it. If you’re local to Whatcom and have prior experience (or are looking to get into Security), then this is the place for you.

I contacted Pacific Security for an event weeks in advance. Over two weeks before the event occurred, I sent them my billing info. I called them back the day before the event to confirm they would provide security, but their booking person said they had never received my email and could not provide their services despite the fact that the email was in my "sent mail" inbox to the right address, which I confirmed with the booking person. If you want to hire pacific security, you'll also have to work with their booking person. This employee is flaky and uninterested in your needs. In the end, all he could do was refer me to a rival company. Pacific Security is unprofessional and sloppy, I am glad I won't be receiving their services.
