One of the best meals in Leavenworth, hands down. I loved the classic schnitzel and the rest of the table enjoyed their dishes as well. It’s a little more expensive than other restaurants but the quality is there. Be sure to call and get on the waitlist ahead of time!

I do recommend this place. Price 4/5 Food5/5 Service 5/5 Place 5/5 This place gives you the Bavarian by if that's what you're looking for. It definitely lives up to the hype especially when you haven't been to the Bavarian country. I particularly enjoy the pork knuckle and the chicken schnitzel. Yes it might seem like it's too pricey for what you get but anything this days it's a lot pricier and you're not only getting food but also the experience of being like a local and traditional German fella. Service was great as well as the food like I mentioned before. For two chicken schnitzels and a big pork knuckle two beers and one hard apple cider we payed around $130 plus tax.

I was told this is the place to go for German food. It definitely is! We went there souring peak winter festival season. The line is crazy long. If you plan on eating before 8, get in there waiting list by like 1:00pm. They are super busy, but the atmosphere is amazing. All the servers are hustling and bustling, but they are still super friendly, and do a great job. The food was delicious. We got the schnitzel cordon bleu. It was amazing. As well as the Apple strudel. Definitely try and save room for that.

If you plan to eat here please note they do not accept reservations and you may wait awhile to eat. Highly suggest arriving before they open to wait in line or plan for a meal outside of lunch or dinner time but it is always busy as indicated by the staff. That said the food is delicious and overall the price is what to expect for the food and atmosphere. Our waitress was very busy but polite. Would highly recommend you visit here at least once when coming to Leavenworth.
