Well, all of the ppl who work here are just fantastic. I love them all and have come back multiple times specifically bc of how nice they are. Not at all like a tourist trap of ppl who dont care if you have fun or even feel like you learned something. The surf coach communicates on each minor detail, and calmly at that (even if you do the same thing wrong 5× in a row lol). If I was anxious to surf amongst experts who'd likely be checking out the n00b, having such a relaxed and efficient teacher relieved that after about 10 mins. Also, side note, bc I shopped around before selecting Jay's: other shops offer 1.5 & 2hr classes for like $150(plus tip). Here it's $100 for 1hr of class & 1hr w your wetsuit/board flying solo. If it's your first or even second time, you'll probably turn in within an hour of being in the water. Even though it's mad fun, PADDLING IS TIRING AF. Im pretty stacked and I got tired/turned in within the hour. Save yourself some $ and give this place a try first.

I was on an date with my boyfriend & we told the guy the that the the square battery on the bike green electric bike rental was out & a e were assure the bike was still safe. Not even 10 min my boyfriend crashes due to a malfunction within the bike; as of it was completely breaking on its own. Mind you, we expressed we were uncomfortable with the fact we could not see if the bike was fully charged or not( charging part was completely blank). I think his wrist is broken he can't move any fingers. Even after explaining the crash still had a hard time obtaining a refund.

JAY'S RENTALS WERE AWESOME .THEIR ELECTRIC BIKES & SCOOTERS WERE IN PERFECT CONDITION. & ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. MY FMILY AND I HAD A BLAST ON VENICE BEACH TODAY. LOVE YOU GUYS.
