A delightful day of baseball with family. Temperature was 101, but we stayed in the shade under one of the many trees and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!!!!

We basically spent 3 days hanging out at the park from open to close enjoying nature fishing a little bit. Very nice park with 2 ponds with fish literally jumping out the water. The playground area was nice as well. The nicest thing was seeing that parks and grounds workers busy maintaining things you can tell they take alot of pride in their work

I'm moving with my dog across the country. Our stop for the night was just outside Grand Junction. I did a Google Search, and happened upon Canyon View Park (and dog park). As someone else mentioned, it's right of I 70, which is a huge plus. Otherwise, it's a spectacular park! I was undecided about the dog park, so we started off just walking. When I saw the dog parks, we had to go in. My dog enjoyed the swim. The water is stagnant, but it was cool. We continued our loop walk. Scenery is beautiful. Bathroom (human) was clean. We really enjoyed it!

We visited this park today, it has several fields, a dog park, little ponds, tons of wildlife, and a phenomenal park. The play structure has all ages and physical abilities in mind, they even have a wheelchair accessible swing! There is a gazebo for parties, a grill, and would be a joy for a birthday party in the spring and summer. Definitely, we'll be headed back there.
