Generally I like Buffalo Exchange for selling, but lately things have been different. I’ve been selling to them for a couple of years and though I could get more money selling things online, the convenience has been worth it and the majority of staff is pleasant and kind. As of late, there has been an unpleasant older woman working there. I believe that she’s a higher up manager filling in for the time being, but customer service is way out of her skill set. She’s curt and condescending, so much so that I feel inclined to wait until she’s gone to sell there again. Long story short, sell if she’s not there (maybe call ahead and ask who is buying) or sell your stuff or get yourself an eBay account and go that route.

Don’t bother selling at this establishment, you’ll have a better chance using DePop. Made an appointment to sell some clothes only to be told by an employee that I still had to wait in line. Waited an hour and when I finally got up to the counter and put my two small bags of clothes onto it, two girls came up saying they had appointments and I was told to wait to the side after I was already told I needed to wait in the long line when I got there. While I was standing there, employees seemed annoyed that I was even there and would glare at me. Waited a total of an hour and fifteen minutes for them to buy two items. I brought in brand new nice ankle boots as well as many shorts, some were worn maybe twice. I will no longer be selling at Buffalo Exchange and I recommend others stay clear as well. It’s not worth your time.

Had two great selling experiences only to be insulted when told over the phone before my selling appointment, by the manager, I was no longer to sell at the store due to it “no longer being mutually beneficial”. They were happy enough to buy a bulk of my vintage clothing collection, now I’m on a “do not buy from list”. Unfortunately the company’s message of sustainability is only demonstrated by its clothes, and not with the relationships of people who sell them there. As a former employee of the company, this sort of disingenuous attitude is normal, which is partly why there is such a great turn over rate of workers there. Ultimately, do not trust her. She’s a fake friend.

Definitely cater to the teenagers as far as taking in used clothes no matter how nice they are. They are very quick and friendly.

They have people wear masks, ask that you launder clothing prior to donating, practice distancing and have sanitized pens for use. Not sure about policy around trying on items.. ❤

Uhhh... You need to ask them. This is where people ask other customers questions about the store. :)
