I don't know if we just went on a bad day but it was horrible. Service was bad. Took about an hour to get our breakfast. High priced for what we got. Mediocre food. Even paying for the meal was a mess. They also have a fee for paying with a debit card that I didn't see posted anywhere. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because of their great support for veterans and it is a neat little diner.

Cool Ma & Pop Diner. Great portions, local business supports Veterans. They have 3 walls dedicated to those who served war and peace times. One was even honored on my visit. Friendly staff too.

This is a very neat diner that serves amazing home cooked food! The hash browns were fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious! The biscuits and gravy were awesome! My wife ordered the pancakes and they had a hint of sweetness that was perfect! The bacon is crispy, the eggs were cooked exactly as ordered. This is definitely a charming little diner in Osage, IA! Very friendly, attentive and welcoming staff as well! We will definitely make the trip back here again! Something else that we noticed, they offered a daily special of Ham Balls for lunch! You definitely do not see these on many menus! 👍

Stopped here on a Sunday morning before heading out of town. It was simply fabulous. Perfect buffet breakfast to keep us from having to stop for lunch on our 6 hour trip home. Lovely owners, very delicious food. I wish it were closer so we could visit again!
