We love Popeyes! Unfortunately the service is no good. I ordered via the app maybe 5 minutes before I got there. Went through the drive thru and had to wait even for beverages. They asked me to pull around front as the food would be a little bit longer. So I did. And waited 10 minutes before going in. Went in and was told it would be a couple minutes. 5 minutes later I was told it was almost done (2 chicken bites and 1 chicken strip) I asked why people in the drive through are getting their food but mine is taking so long she said they aren't. I said I've watched 2 people drive in after me, order and get their food and leave. She said we're short staffed. I said that doesn't explain new orders going out before mine. She said we're out of bites, they're ordering strips. I said why didn't anyone tell me that? I would have switched to strips. She said we have a new cook. So excuse after excuse. Not to mention the boy who was recording the workers and screaming while doing so when I walked in. It appeared to be one of the workers kids but can't be certain. I won't be in a hurry to return after this experience.

I ordered the 3 piece chicken tender with mac and cheese and a frozen strawberry lemonade. The mac and cheese was disgusting. There had to be at least 1 table spoon of grease in it. The cheese was a gross coagulation. The frozen lemonade was not frozen the consistency of the drink made me think of a frozen drink that was left to melt for am hour. The chicken tenders were okay. I will not be giving Popeyes another chance. Not worth my money.

I placed an order on the app which said in store pick up only. So i followed what it says and try to go inside. The doors had a sign which I proceeded to follow (which was barely visible due to it being placed on the outside of the door) Sign tells you to call the store for online orders. Restaurant picks up and than proceeds to tell me that you need to go through the drive through. Are you kidding me it’s -20 degrees out. Just no. Get food somewhere else.

Not impressed at all! Mediocre at best and the price is outrageous for a “fast food” chicken shop. I do give them props for the app though. As a new customer they give you decent free choices. No idea about the loyalty part though because with those prices I won’t be back.
