Awesome place! Great times on the lake... Enjoy being able to just kick back and get away from things and enjoy family and friends.

This campground is nearly 100% seasonal owners and it shows. There were maybe 15 spots available to rent and they were all the worst spots in the park. We have a 40' fifth wheel and the resort knew this. When we got there the manager showed us to our spot and said that our rv was huge and we would have to unhook the truck for sure because all vehicles/rvs need to be at least 3' off the street. However, the spot directly in front of us was a seasonal spot and they had their car parked sideways, literally on the edge of the road. This made it nearly impossible to maneuver into our spot. The manager showed no concern about that vehicle. He then gave us a 10 minute speech on the rules of the park..... We have 3 small dogs and he said they we didn't need to worry about leashing them unless someone complains. The spot we had was so small that the camper next to us had almost no room at all. The sewer drains for both of our rvs were located directly in front of there door and only a few feet away so that carpet could not be put there. Little to no grass in the site and barely any room to do activities. On our third night of our stay a group of seasonal campers showed up at our bonfire and kind of took over. A couple were friendly but they were very loud, intoxicated, and several of them started smoking weed. This was all done in front of a 2 and 4 year old. After about 30 minutes of them being there the manager showed up and told us to keep it down. One of the girls in there group started to argue with him and those 2 went back and forth and he kept saying there will be consequences. All of our group dispersed immediately without even saying a word. The next day we ran into the manager and we briefly talked and he said he knew it wasn't us causing the problem but because it was happening on our site it was our responsibility. Later that evening the manager (along with several others) showed up at our site again, while we were playing yard games and immediately started talking down to us. Telling us that we have been warned and any more complaints about us and the sheriff would be called. We had all of our dogs out and unleashed, as we were told it wasn't a problem (our dogs were on remote collars). When he noticed this, he said that's it.... You have 1 hour to vacate the campgrounds or the sheriff would be called (seasonal owners dogs unleashed was fine). This didn't go ever well as you can imagine, the kids started crying along with a few of the moms. We reminded him that the group that caused all the noise and disrespect was there seasonal people. He wanted names or lots numbers for them, we had no idea who they were or where there sites were. He just said everything that happens on your site is your responsibility, period! A few minutes later a gentleman in there group said we could stay the night but nothing else would be tolerated. There is a lady at the resort by the name of Rachael that appeared to be very nice when we first met her. She is a realtor and handles the selling of the lots at the resort. She asked how we were doing and if needed anything and if wanted a tour of what they had for sale to let you her know. I asked her why gas golf carts were not allowed (only electric) and we were disappointed that we couldnt bring ours. . She then, generously, offered to let use her golf cart for about a day and half. When we went to return it to her the next day, she wasn't there but her husband said to just keep it, and gave us the charger for it as well. Later that night she showed up at our fire and picked up her golf cart.... She seemed very irratated that we still had it and was in disbelief that we had the charger for it. After that night, everything seemed to go bad, Rachel would walk by us down at the beech and not even acknowledge else or wave and respond. Then the Manger started all of his BS. Overall, I believe this to be a nice campground, if your a seasonal owner. If your just looking to rent for a weekend you will be treated as an outsider.... Especially if you don't show interest in buying a lot.

This resort was mixed, but mostly good. I called late on a Sunday to see if they had any room for an RV for one night. I was given a second phone number to call (the first person didn't know), spoke to Michelle who was very nice, and set up a late arrival. She gave me excellent instructions, the site was very nice. The dumping station was on the opposite side of the RV from the electric and water? OK, so we kept everything on tanks until the morning, turned the rig around and dumped before we left. My family woke up in shifts, one son and I showered while the other son made breakfast. Then second son went to shower, and came back in 3 minutes saying that the bathroom was closed for an hour for cleaning. At 9:30am? Hmm. Nothing had been posted about cleaning times, or we would have made arrangements. So, off to the showers I went. I sat outside the ladies room while he showered in there. Didn't see another soul, so he was fine. We only stayed one night. Besides the cleaning woman we didn't see anyone else. At all. Was very quiet, had everything we needed. Didn't get to use the amenities. I would go back.

Amazing campground with paved roads. I know that doesn’t sound like a big deal but last year we were at a seasonal site that was all dirt.......so trust me..... paved is a plus. Amazing staff and amenities.

Just sold one last week! We have a couple above the lake but nothing right on the lake now. We have bare lots (with a pad), some with a deck or shed, a couple with campers or park models. We've got a great place if you'd like to come out for a tour.

Are there boat rentals? Specifically Pontoon?

I don't remember that being a option. I remember that every spot had a for sale sign. If it was open it was available for rental. Nice people and place to stay. I do recommend it.
