I’m sure the good reviews of this law office is purely from family and friends of the lawyers who work there. They most likely own legal shield as well and that’s why they are the only firm that they send you to. Not really to happy with them at all. And good luck when it comes to this firm returning your phone calls.

This law firm is the worst law firm I've ever dealt with. Through legal shield I scheduled a consultation call between the hours of 2-5 pm. The first call i received was at 8:45 by a very rude man. My job, that would pay for thier retainer, was not important to him. The second call was at 1:45. Both times I was assured that Kivel and Howard would call back at the appropriate time. That never happened, instead I got an email saying they tried to call. Even with the discount that legal shield was giving me, I would never retain this law firm. I would have zero faith in any lawyer the provided. Unfortunately they are the only lawfirm with legal shield.

My name is Robinson Lee and here is my story for today 06-22-21 12:00pm. My original attorney, Tami Bishop, was on vacation (she is easy to talk to and very professional), so the firm assigned another attorney by the name of Aaron Varhola mad he was incompetent and useless. It was very very frustrating speaking with this dude. I had no choice because I was assigned this firm by Legal Shield. Tami Bishop, despite the fact she was on vacation, she took the time to contact me personally and communicate…very rare quality. I advise ANYONE, I would look for other legal firms before looking into this one. Aaron Varhola doesn’t want to hear his clients out, he is very unprofessional and has no customer service manners whatsoever. Gosh, this guy just ruined my entire day. I can see why this firm as a 3.2 star rating. Very pathetic!

I am a long-time member and very happy with the services I have received. I have both the business plan and a personal plan as well. I use them periodically, obviously I use the business plan more due to contract and collection letters being needed. I have used them personally with huge success too. I have read the more negative reviews and am shocked that people think a lawyer can just fix their issue. Sometimes you do get bad news or they cannot do what you want. NOT a good reason for a bad review. They have a job to do and rules and laws to follow also. I have received great advise although not always what I want to hear. I trust these folks to help me with my legal issues and they have always delivered very well. VERY much worth it!
