Sew What!

I’ve used this location for over ten years, however management has changed and prices have gone up. I brought a bridesmaids dress in, gave very specific directions to save the foot of fabric they would cut off the bottom (I’m a shorty) to sew into a simple rectangle for a make-shift shawl. I need a new hook and eye closure and there was a thread loose on the neckline. They threw away the fabric (even though they wrote down the extra details to make a shawl. They didn’t fix the threads on the neckline and the messed up on the hook and eye closure. Terrible service and will never return! They clearly don’t listen and will hack your expensive clothes. The bride will not be happy and there is nothing I can do!! Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

this place was great place i took one of my suits in to get it tailored and they did an excellent job i could not be happier The rates are reasonable . They had to do a lot of work on it to get it fitted properly .Here is what i had done .Pants. Inseam shortened waist taken in. the rise shortened. Suit coat sleeves shortened ;sides taken

I had an XL jersey I needed altered down to basically a S. The woman who helped me talked me through what it would look like as she had to cut through some important areas of the jersey, which was helpful in me being sure I wanted to alter so I thought it was a helpful step. The pricing was posted on the wall, but seemed to be a bit more of a negotiation process when we got to that point. I was happy to pay what she asked as I had a good feeling she was going to be sure it was well done. When I picked it up at the end of the week, she let me know she had to cut slightly different than what we discussed. This was no problem as I trusted her judgement and now I have an excellent jersey. This was my first experience getting something tailored, but next time I am in need I will be back to support this neighborhood shop.
