First time to visit Dual Citizen. Happy I tried it. If you are an avid IPA lover, don't bother reading further. It's just not my thing. Although, they do have a great variety options, don't get me wrong. I started off with a flight of four. I tend to like the dark beers, stouts and porters, but not if they're hoppy (that's too bitter for me). 1-Join Us On the Vista Nice start. Flavorful and a great summer beer for a dark beer lover. I'll get it again. 2-Luck of the Loons Really nice. Similar reaction to the Vista. If I had to choose between the two I'd pick the Loons. It will be good in all seasons. 3-Cereal Money (milk stout) Rich and thick like I like them, but for me it's pretty heavy on the coffee and not enough on the cocoa nibs for my taste. The finish is a soft linger and, despite the coffee, a pleasant ending to the glass. 4-North Border Oat Porter For today's visit this is my favorite. Sitting outside on the deck, 82 with bright sun and sitting in the shade with a light breeze, it hit the spot. I'm a big fan of malty beer so I'm biased. This is a smooth, great by the lake, chilling with friends and family kind of beer for me. Liked it! One downside, it's almost 6 pm and I need food. Not an easy add to the visit as they have nothing to fit that need on sight today. I'm going to have to move on for food. But you should check this place out.

Stopped in for quick drink while waiting for someone. Tried the Mayhem & Mischief 2021 which was very good. I’ll have to stop in again to sample many of the other beers on tap. Brewery requires proof of vaccination or negative Covid test to be served. Also they are not currently filling growlers.

Great atmosphere and great beer! The Oktoberfest beer is excellent. The space is open with its very high ceilings and huge windows. Both look like leftovers from its former warehouse or industrial use. The wood tables and stools make the place grounded and warm. Attentive staff served up tasty beer. I went after work on a Thursday for an impromptu happy hour with 5 other coworkers and there was plenty of room for us. Family style seating at one long table in the middle, just like in Germany! Friendly and attentive staff. Parking can be tricky. Street parking at a meter right outside the door or find free parking on Raymond. Take the Green line and get off at Raymond. Hungry? Get tasty food from the Naughty Greek just next door. They’ll deliver it right to your table.

Best Brewery in town: Dual Citizen Brewing Company. For years I have prided myself on adventuring out and enjoying the craft brewery culture of Minnesota, Minneapolis - St. Paul in particular, and I can say with confidence that this is my favorite. From the moment you walk in the door, the sense of hard work and adoration for the brewing community, and local community at large, is felt throughout down to the smallest of details. Beyond the utter deliciousness of the full spectrum of beers presented; all named after local streets recognizable to anyone who has ever visited: Lyndale, Broadway, Ayd Mill, Grand, ect... the festive and easygoing nature of service makes you feel as if you're at your own bar sipping with close friends. The beers make the most of full flavor without being weighed be down by overly malted or hopiness. Dual Citizen is a must drink for any beer lover and a wonderful new staple in the community.

Only in summer on the outside patio I'm afraid. Inside is not pet friendly. Wild Mind Artisanal Ales in Richfield is the only beer place I've been where dogs can be inside.
Their opening day is Saturday, January 27th noon–midnight.
