Went to get breakfast this morning. Took a while for someone to come to the table and asked if I want anything to drink. I asked for coffee. Then I told the young lady what I want to order and she told me that someone else will be coming to the table to take the order. After about 10 minutes or so I heard another young lady from behind the counter if I was the one with who ordered Decaf. I said yes then she dropped off the coffee and took her phone out and start enjoying social media and left. I waited for someone to take my order meanwhile there were 3 more tables came in and they order and they got their food. The only difference between me and them was, the color of my skin and I guess the darker you are the less service you get in this restaurant. After waiting about 40 minute when no one showed up to my table I walk up to the cash register and asked her how much the coffee was since no one came to take an order. She said $2 and then said I am sorry about that and no you don't have to pay. I didn't want to walk out of there without paying $2 just because you are not sure they might have called the cop for not paying for coffee since they didn't even want me in that restaurant. You may want to put a sign in the window; Cash and Whites ONLY!!

Just moved to the area so trying out places close to home. Hoagies was super busy, family friendly atmosphere, food was decent. Service for the most part was friendly my only issue was when I informed someone there had been syrup on the table and chair that got all over my son's coat she seemed more irritated that it bothered us rather than apologize that the space was not clean. You seat your self here so if you go check the tables before sitting down. The encounter about the dirty table is enough to detour me from returning most places but I may give them another try since it is close to home.

Great spot to grab a quick bite, cure a hangover or feel unintimidated by the laid back crowd. Bring cash to pay as they don’t take cards. This is your standard greasy spoon type spot.

Old-fashioned neighborhood diner with Old-fashioned pricing! My little family loves coming here for breakfast. Tasty food and large portions. The pancakes are the same size as the plate! My family of 3 can typically eat here for $20-25 plus tip. I definitely recommend!
