We found what we were looking for. Foam for under the 2x6 foundation from concrete to wood for the forge shop, concrete screws/bolts, and I bought one of those mini air conditioners for $39. I was told that they work great, the water/ice water lasts for ten hours. We tried it out when we got home. Tim noticed how it cooled the living room. I figured it would take less electricity so we can save on the power bill. Rusty couldn't help himself, so while we were looking at a sale at another place, he chewed up the 50 foot roll of foam... Hopefully we'll have the 30 feet we need.

His name is JB! Thank you! Just got off the phone with customer service and sadly didn't get the man's name, but I needed to change an online pick up to curbside. It contained some lumber that I needed cut. I have a newborn and was trying to figure out how I'd get all the lumber taken care of whilst bringing in my baby. The man at CS is going to cut the lumber for me and have it ready for curbside pickup so I don't have to worry. So very grateful for him and I hope he identifies himself to supervisors so they know how wonderful he is!

Home Depot no longer accepts Military ID'S for Military discount. Instead they only accept info from their app. While I'm sure that works fine, I don't want to add an app for what should be a simple transaction. Fortunately Lowes can can accommodate my home improvement needs without additional and unnecessary steps.

Good place to go for your home repair and updating needs. The only issue with Home Depot is more a symptom of the times than a failing in the store itself; if you want to buy tools, you have to track down an employee who seem to be pulled thin with different tasks through out the store and then they have to track down a manager to get what you want out of a cage or having a security cord removed before you yourself have to use the self-service check out since no register is open. The employees I did interact with were super helpful though, so that's nice. But yeah, basically if you need tools or little things right away or something too expensive to ship, it's an okay place to spend your money.
