Really great food, pictured is the chicken pot pie, side of mashed potatoes and a house side salad. The salad was amazing! Our service was a bit slower than what we would have liked but it helped that we were in good company. I can't imagine sitting there that long alone. After our food did come, it was all very tasty and hot. The desserts were great and very large.

Made a reservation for 2pm at 1:45pm & decided to wait in the car until it was time to be seated. Proceeded to walk in at 1:55pm & was told our table still needed to be cleaned. Once we got to the table it was not entirely cleaned as there were still food particles. We were greeted by someone as they walked by to tend to another table. Our server (someone other then who greeted us) then stopped by to take our drink order. Which was 2 waters, a margarita, sprite & chocolate milk. It was 30 mins after sitting that we received those drinks. During those 30 mins we witnessed our server upsetting a neighboring table as the server was in the back on their phone according to the women from the table. It appeared they were completely checked out however they were still waiting for their server & she was highly upset to find them on their phone instead of working. Once we received our drinks we asked questions about the menu such as what fish the fish & chips were & was told salmon. We decided to order the pretzle sticks for an appetizer & for our childrens food to come together. Only for french fries to come out prior to anything else. Our kids ordered boneless wings with buffalo sauce, yet they came out plain. Therefore we received side sauces for them to dip. I ordered the salmon with green beans & rice. My husband order the fish & chips only 2 pieces of fish with a lime instead of a lemon. Which was strange to me considering it was displayed online from others with 4 pieces. I had order an additional side with my meal that was never ordered by the server. We had dirty dishes on our table longer then should be which made it difficult to enjoy our meal as I felt we were overwhelmed with plates instead of enjoying space as we were a 4 top sitting at a 6 top table. Unfortunately I was not impressed for a 1st time experience, I will not be in a hurry to return. I understand that the server was fairly new on the job but to say fish & chips is salmon. Clearly shows that he was not trained in properly. I hope your establishment does a better job of assisting those that are not as experienced instead of letting them fail. I was highly disappointed in the assistance he received as it was only one other women that helped him. She could not have been more helpful, attentive & kind. Hopefully we will give this place another try but not anytime soon.

My apologies for the delay in my review. But it won't change my opinion about this place... I really enjoyed it! It was a couple months back, Covid restrictions were still in place (I think 50% capacity max). I met up with my oldest son for a late lunch after work... He had recently moved into the "neighborhood" a while back and suggested we eat here at the brewery. It definitely has that industrial vibe going, yet has comfy booths, high top table seating, large windows plus an all around casual feel. We were seated at a very large comfy corner booth! Our server was wonderful and very attentive. She explained the lunch specials and answered any questions we had about the food or drink. I ordered two items off the appetizer special they had going that day... First was the Spinach Artichoke Dip & Chips (Reg-$11.49) - The dip was hot & delicious, lots of artichoke chunks, gooey cheese and perfectly toasted pita chips. Then the Cheeseburger Slider Tower with French Fries! (Reg-$11.99) - The fries of course were the standard crinkly fries, nothing to write home about, but they were crispy which I like. As for the Sliders...Yummy!! The beef was tender, juicy, not dry at all and I loved the mini brioche buns they fit perfectly into. I have no complaints about my food. I actually wound up taking at least half of each item home with me and had them for lunch leftovers the next day. They were just as good properly reheated! My son... He ordered the Roasted Prime Rib Sandwich with Garlic Mashed Potatoes (he's ordered this in the past - $14.99 +$1.99 potato upgrade). This seems to be his favorite go-to Sandwich here. It's thinly sliced, juicy, yet piled high with melted provolone to top it off. I don't doubt him! I was able to get a bite of it with a dip into that rich au jus sauce and a forkful of the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. I think I'm going to have to try the Prime Rib Sandwich the next time I drop in! We washed our lunch down with a couple of Granite Brewery Seltzers. They were very refreshing for a warm Spring Day. Thanks again Granite City for the great hospitality & food! Enjoy the photos of our Lunch!

Hopefully you read this in its entirety: Weve been here a few times before and always enjoyed it. This time however we ordered a bison burger and a maple bacon burger and both of us got waffle fries as our side. The fries came out cold, and not just cold, but ice cold. I asked if they remake them or something and she just said I'll get you new ones, which is fine, but answer the question. The bison burger was phenomenal though as well as the maple bacon burger. I would not order an old fashioned here though as it had aroma or that classic taste. It was just straight booze flavor that overwhelmed my sensory array. The second round of waffle fries were warmer, but had a stale chewiness to them. Kind of threw off a large portion of the experience. Waitress was quick but not personalable at all. Seemed to just take the order and walk away. Didnt ask us how the food is or was by time we saw her again. I dont know her name because she never introduced herself either and there was no name tag. Overall the burgers got them 3 stars, but I'd have gone to 4 if the waitress would have been more attentive or at very least asked how we were. I should not have to holler at her to get her attention and tell her my food is cold... my wife even had to get up to chase her down once...... I'm not coming back for just a burger but it was really good. We drove about 35 min to get here because the last time it was great and the staff was amazing. Edit: Alexandra was the waitress.

Hi Dean, Our Lawless Brunch is every Sunday and is a buffet style for a single price. The drink specials are extra cost. You can also spend the $100 on beer, always a good choice or just come in for a great dining experience. We just launched our new Unseriously Good menu and has a lot of options for everyone to enjoy. We hope to see you soon, Cheers! GC.
Super cool. They started doing $5/$6 growler fills every Wed. back in August. One of my favorite days to go!
Even though on Sundays it's a Brunch they have you walk behind a barrier and you tell the server what you want as you walk the buffet and they get it for you,as much as you want of everything. Everyone wears mask untill you sit down to eat they had spaces between tables too.
It worked on my android phone. And I use Chrome as my Browser.
You should call and ask.
We are senior citizens and have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes, in fact usually just a minute or two. Maybe just a busy day/time?
Or maybe call them. And ask.....
