missing a star because I can't bring my LEDs in 😅 seriously though, I've seen some great acts here since 2015. Never any issues with parking. new LED features on the first floor are worth the visit

I have been going to 45 East for all my EDM and Dubstep concerts. I have seen a variety of artists from Benny Benassi, Flux Pavilion, CASH CASH. Local Artist such as JSTR (First photo) All bring a unique energy to Portland and make the music scene what it is. The security is good, never had a serous safety issue as they have an organized team that’s on top of things. Staff is friendly, drinks are pricyish but you can usually afford it. Overall, great place, coming from a guy that’s been there like 10 times now😅

What a fun venue! If you’re visiting, this is the EDM venue to check out. Security helps me feel safe, vibes are always positive. As a woman, I love venues that don’t allow “creepy” or unsafe behavior - I can even attend here alone, no problem. It can get a bit crowded, but the back patio and upstairs help change up the energy and offer a lot more space. I enjoy dancing to the main act upstairs. Solid bartenders get to you quickly and the drinks are good! What else can I say? Good staff, good music, good sound, good drinks.

Seriously, the best venue in the city. If you like electronic music, you truly need to catch a show here. The audio is amazing, the lasers are fantastic, they have the best acts. The staff is really great, and have a safety crew, and free water for people doing their rave things. I would come here every day if I could, as it's truly Disneyland for people who enjoy electronic music, but can't travel across the country for some festival. It's highly, highly recommended.

Tickets for the show tonight cost $25. It isn't really cover, and does depend on who is playing. It ranges from $5 to as much as $40.
I'm sure if you present your case to the right promoter at the show with the right amount of incentives offered in exchange, someone would write you an absentee pass no problem.
45 East takes cash or card now for coat check!
45 East is Strictly 21+, but Red Cube does shows at other venues that do have some 18+ shows.
A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $30!
I've been going for a while now to 45 East. I've never had an issue with it and none of the people I've brought with me (normally groups of 4-10) have ever had an issue with it. Not saying it never happens, but it's not common.
That is their typical days they are open however sometimes Thursday and sundays. Check out their website for upcoming events.
It is but it still gets sweaty when the main floor is full
If the event isn't sold out in advance, you can purchase tickets at the door on the night of the event at 10pm when doors open. You won't be able to purchase Friday tickets on Thursday.
Yes. It's $5 cash only.
Depends on the show.
Thanks , when I saw Darude the first two d.j.'s sucked
It's a really small space and you don't have to worry about anyone elbowing you while you're trying to enjoy the show. Plus, the security there is really good about crowd control just in case a mosh pit happens.
There are places to sit in the back, but you can't see the stage very well from back there. Also places to sit upstairs,.
Probably fine. Worst case scenario they make you coat check it.
It's all street parking. I usually arrive when doors open to get the best spots. Don't leave any valuables in your car though because there have been break-ins.
Probably. I don't think it is sold out yet, but there is always that chance. They haven't posted the door price for tonight yet, but keep an eye on the FB event page for it.
Tonight (10/27) the only way to get tickets is to be in line by 9pm, as there will be a limited number of $45 tickets available.
A limited number of $25 tickets will be sold at the door.
We do accept temporary paper ID with a picture, issued from state of OR/WA. Thank you
Website says doors for dada life @45 East are @10 and tickets are $10-25. I would plan to pay for entry.
I believe they will. Havent had the need though. Just be very polite with them, the people at the front inside are nice a helpful.
They don't, but, if you follow them on Facebook and Instagram, they often have shows where they'll do $5 tickets in advance for a limited number. Looking at the list of participating organizations, theres a conspicuous lack of bars/clubs/alcohol serving music venues, so they may not be eligible to even participate.
You can try calling them, or emailing them. While the venue isn't open during the week, they're fairly responsive over email in my experience.
We would ask you to take the led toys out to your car and you can comeback in. Or if you didn’t drive to the club, we would hold them for you at the box office and pick them up on your way out. You will not be kicked out.
They do and it's $5
It is 21 plus but unless they specify otherwise, but haven't seen it be 18 plus hopefully this helps others.
21+. It has a bar right next to the main dance floor.
Yep just turn your brightness up
Yes 10 is when music starts
