This is my favorite indie bookstore! Stephanie is the sweetest and so helpful with different book suggestions. The virtual book clubs allow a fun way for readers to get together near and far to discuss the books we enjoy. The store has the most welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home and a regular right away. Of course Spooky the cat is the best book searching assistant with his playfulness and purrs. A must stop if you are in Gresham

Books Around the Corner is the perfect place to find your next spooky genre read. The owner has turned the store into a specialized book shop for horror, fantasy, sci-fi and thriller works, as well as all kinds of cute spooky non-book items. And if you want something our of the main genres, she is all to happy and willing to special order any book for you. Bonus, there's a sweet shop cat named Spooky who will help you with your selections!

This shop is a little farther than "around the corner" from my house, but it's certainly a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I recently heard about this shop and even though I don't read as much as I'd like to, I love books so I had to check it out. Also, my son recently decided to clear off his bookshelf to make room for new books, so I had a few books in need of re-homing. I checked the website to see if this store sold used in addition to new and they do, so I took some books with me. I was lucky to find street parking nearby and the store was easy to find. They have more than just books. They have art, gift items, and host events as well. The selection is very good for the amount of space and service is fantastic. Everything is well organized, but the owner adds a personalized touch that you just don't see anywhere anymore. I know I will be back and I hope you will check it out too!
