When we decided to upgrade to a metal roof from our shingled one, we searched for and found the best installers this side of the Mississippi! The guys at Mountaintop Metal Roofing are professional, informative, skilled and reliable. We were in good hands throughout the process from bidding the job to post-installation follow-up. We had lots of color and texture options to choose from. The entire install took less than two days. The installers were tidy and courteous and followed our strict HOA rules for contractors. (Our floating home didn't seem to phase them!) I highly recommend this crew to anyone looking for a new metal roof.

We are the proud new owners of a metal roof courtesy of Mountaintop Metal Roofing. What started as a casual demonstration and quote process led to timely communication, transparency, and a low stress installation process. Glenn, owner, met with us for the paperwork and came down to evaluate the job prior to completion. Work crew was timely, worked hard, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Communication happened throughout and we couldn’t be happier. The interlocking shingles look fantastic without completely altering the look of the home (1920’s farmhouse).

I reached out to Mountaintop Metal because I was interested in the sustainability of metal roofing and the longevity of the aluminum products that they work with. Glenn presented several options beyond what I had considered initially. He took the time to explain how the system works, why it performs better than alternatives, and how the costs of different options compares. His expertise and the quality of products used compared favorably to the other estimates that I received. Glenn communicated regularly throughout the process. The crew was fast, efficient, and clean. My finished roof looks great and is already performing well. The result is a 50-year roof for a great value. I would definitely recommend Mountaintop Metal for your roofing project.

Vitaliy and the installation crew arrived on time and worked diligently, keeping us informed of progress and any issues. It was a pleasure working with everyone. Thanks for the roof that completes our home!

Questions & Answers

How much does it to install a metal roof?

People are naturally interested to know how much their metal roofing project will cost. However, we can’t make any determinations on final costs without performing our due diligence. You can get the ball rolling by contacting us or requesting a free estimate. We can say with confidence that our reviews are consistently high — with many customers mentioning how the cost of their roofing project was well worth it. These are satisfied clients who also who also wondered how much it costs to install a metal roof in Washington or Oregon and if a metal roof is worth the extra costs compared with traditional roofing

I love the look of these roofs, I think they’d look great on my summer home at the coast. How will the salty ocean breezes affect it?

They won’t. These are aluminum roofs, not steel. So you don’t need to worry about rust or fading the colors. In fact, you don’t need to worry about anything, except for the envious looks from your neighbors. But we can’t help that.

I know asphalt shingles have been the standard for decades, but they don’t last that long and the energy it takes to recycle them is counter-productive. How is your metal roofing different?

For starters, aluminum is the most durable roofing material currently on the market. That means you won’t need to replace it for as long as you own your home. That’s why we offer a lifetime warranty. Fewer replacements also mean less material needed for new installations, which in turn means less manufacturing, which in turn means fewer emissions. Our product is also 95% recyclable, meaning older products can be made new again. Depending on the shape of an existing roof, we can even install a metal roof without tearing off the old one, which keeps it out of the landfill. This is definitely a “green” product.

I was researching metal/aluminum roofing and it looks like I can get some at those big box stores. Can I install it myself?

We certainly don’t recommend that. Metal roofing has a very specific way of being installed, that’s why so few roofers offer the service. But Mountaintop Metal Roofing grew up on the material and has 20 years of experience selling and installing these roofs. With an investment like this, it’s best to leave it to the professionals.

What’s the catch to the Lifetime Warranty? Is regular maintenance required?

Not at all, but we understand the question. Many roofers offer products that come with caveats, but our aluminum roof is built to last a lifetime - that’s why we’re able to offer such a great warranty. Our roofing is durable, will stay the same color, and needs no maintenance. You buy it, we install it, and then you can forget about it.

I’ve seen metal roofing before, but usually on large facilities or plants of some sort. Is it really for residential use?

Mountaintop Metal Roofing | Aug 17, 2020
Mountaintop Metal Roofing | Aug 17, 2020

Absolutely! Aluminum roofing is starting to gain a foothold because of the variety of style and color combinations. Charcoal gray slate, Terra Cotta cedar shake, and buckskin standing seam are just a few options. In fact, there are around 250 colors to choose from that can be applied to any profile! And there’s a reason you see it on bigger buildings - having to replace that much roofing can be expensive every few decades!
