Stopped by here after reading reviews online. Glad we did! Great portion sizes and tasted pretty good! Prices were OK too.

We ate at Carolyn's three days in a row and both of us ordered something different each day. All I can say is every meal was absolutely awesome! Every item was prepared immaculately - the fluffy eggs for the omelets, the creamy, light, and airy french toast, the obviously homemade white cream gravies over the biscuits and/or chicken fried steak, and the big and airy pancakes. This diner/cafe is by far the overall best food I've had. Carolyn's Cafe should be on the top of everyone's go-to place for breakfast.

The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious, you definitely do not get shorted any! We had the biscuits and gravy, huckleberry pancakes, both came with eggs. The eggs were kind of bland but cooked well. I think they would greatly benefit from an update on the interior and exterior of the cafe. Make it feel a little more homey and a little less like the closet of a gas station. But don’t let the outside detour you!

Great food, not a fancy place. A local restaurant located next to a gas station. It was worth the 20 minutes wait to be seated. Only one waitress who was happy and attentive to our requests. This small restaurant has only 7 tables. Come here for the food and great service.

Questions & Answers

We lived there in the mid 70's Are you anywhere near the huckle berry restaurant ( don't remember the name) on hwy 2? It was across the road from a little park in hungry horse.

Why don't you show a menu and prices so that a person can decide if they can afford to stop there?
