The Tavern is a lovely restaurant in the Tulsa Arts Distict adjacent to Greenwood. Very pleasantly surprised by the innovative menu and beautiful ambiance. You feel welcome from the moment you enter the premises. We had a lovely corner booth and could admire the art work and photos that lined the walls. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant allowing us time to chat over cocktails before ordering. We ordered the focaccia with cheese and marinara . It was outstanding ! The Summer Babe cocktail was yummy and very pleasant on a hot day. The menu was very appealing and the entrees were varied and delicious ! The prices were very reasonable as well. Very impressed and will definitely return. The Tavern is a reminder that our local chefs and restaurants give customers a unique dining experience that chain restaurants do not. The Tavern is so welcoming , a great place to have a marvelous meal and to catch up with friends. Very well worth the drive to Tulsa !

My friends and I ended up on a spontaneous mini-crawl and came here on recommendation from a nearby bartender. We were not prepared (or really dressed) to walk into somewhere so fancy, but they didn't bat an eye. We had some very spicy mac & cheese, excellent bacon caramel popcorn and a sweet, fluffy strawberry shortcake concoction. The Broken Compass cocktail unfortunately tasted like straight lemon juice to me, but when I couldn't drink it at all, they comped it, which was very classy. Our very friendly and knowledgeable waitress guided me to the Captain's Daiquiri, which was still citrus-forward but infinitely more enjoyable. My friend also had an excellent drink I have forgotten the name of, but it tasted precisely like a grapefruit. All told, we were favorably impressed and I look forward to coming back for a proper meal.

I was absolutely thrilled we decided on the Tavern for dinner tonight. We decided to sit outside- the weather was amazing and perfect for patio dining. Our server was absolutely amazing- I don’t remember her name but she was exceptional and so sweet. The drinks were excellent… but the food. Good lord the food was some of the best food I’ve ever had! I got the scallops with a side of grilled artichokes and my husband got the friend chicken. Literally the best scallops I’ve ever had- the mushroom risotto was incredible and the mushrooms on top were so tasty! My hubby loved his meal too! I wanted to try the crème brûlée but I was so stuffed we decided to wait till next time. Thank you to the staff at the tavern for an absolutely wonderful dining experience we will definitely back for another date night- im dying to try the beet pasta . Don’t pass this place up- it’s incredible.

I've been here before and the bacon popcorn was so much better. The caramel was burnt and the bacon tasted like store bought Bacon bits. The meal was somewhat exceptional. I had the fried chicken dinner and my date had the fish and chips. I think they used to do more manual prep. The fries on the fish and chips looked like a commercial product. Wasn't bad, just wasn't the quality I've had there before. Definitely not up to the quality for the cost of the meal The local beers were amazing!
