This is my second year going to Schedeens and I love it! I live plants there at a fair price and vegetables and fruits that are even more so! Today I came in for peaches and left with Rainier‘s cherries two giant yellow onions two very nice peaches person cucumbers and a lovely Yumi watermelon!

I always enjoy.my shopping experience here. Today, while buying flowers and veggies, I asked for advice on buying a watermelon. The friendly staff person not only hefted the watermelon to feel its density to size and tapped on it, she carried it to the car for me and wished me a happy camping trip!

The staff is very knowledgeable about both native and unique plants and have a great always changing selection. They also have a table for discount plants that just need some love which I really appreciate.

Hi Doug. You should put your mason bees out when the daytime temps are in the mid 50's. I would recommend putting them out now.
We sure do!
It depends on what your planting. Perennials that can take the cold it's totally fine but vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers it's really important to wait until the soil temperature warms up. It's kind of like on the 1st really hot days when you go to the river you want to jump in but the water is so cold you regretted it instantly. It takes a long time for the water to warm up. It's kind of the same thing with the soil. A lot of people's rule of thumb is Mother's Day. Savy gardens often buy starts early and protect them from the frost and once the soil warms up they pop them into the ground. That way your guaranteed to have the plants that you want for that year. Sometimes if you wait too long then you have to fight the crowds or sometimes the plants you want can be sold out. Hope this helps! ❤ Bri
Yes, we sure are! 7 days a week 10-5. If it's a beautiful day we tend to come earlier and stay later. 🥰 See you soon! 🌞
Do you mean edible elder berries? We typically get our Rhubarb plants in early to mid April.
No, we are closed until Spring. Once everything starts to warm up we will have both. ❤
Unknown to me who owns I believe a family owns it wonderful family
I am a customer, not an employee. However, I have not seen any type of "help wanted" or "now hiring" signs my last few visits.
Hi Beverly. We have just begun to get our tomato starts in if you still need some!
