Some friends and I stopped by Hoffman Farms Store and we loved every minute of our experience there! Friendly staff, beautiful property, and rows upon rows of delicious berries in their you-pick section. We saw entire families enjoying their time together picking from a nice variety of beautiful, ripe berries. The farm store has pre-picked berries, pies and goodies for those needing to grab something and go. It’s a beautiful experience for the whole family! Definitely add this to your Summer Family Fun list!

All I can say is WOW! A friend gifted me their family’s weekly berry flat subscription. I had a sleeping baby in the car and they walked this beautiful box of berries to my door. Such a gift of love. A must visit!

Great stop for Fall fun with the family! Many parents with small children were having a blast when I went to pick up vegan apple pie and stayed a while to listen to live music. The farm store is full of yummy local goodies including baked items, jellies, honey, nuts. They also have freshly prepared meals and shakes along with a big covered seating area. Not only that but there are so many employees walking around and giving directions and assistance as needed. This is a new favorite.

Last week we heard about a rad new playground at Hoffman Farms Store in Beaverton thanks to @momwhatsnextpdx and omgsh was it amazing! I figured we’d play at the farm for an hour, but nope we were there for 3 entire hours and didn't even make it to picking berries the first time around. They had a tractor that was transformed into a climbing structure with 2 slides, a large mountain made of tires with a four-way climbing tunnel beneath and a mini tire mountain for little littles. The play area was fenced in and only had one entrance, which put my mama-mind at ease since it can be hard to wrangle a fast crawler and spirited 2 year old. Also, picnic tables and trash/recycling because ya know…snacking and the inevitable diaper changes! After the kids got some energy out we visited their open air market and picked up a couple of pies and other treats and then rode the adorable train with all the kiddos. I appreciated seeing that the front passenger cart had a wide swing door and large open space without a seat leading me to believe it was handicapped friendly. If you're adventuring here with little kids, its helpful to know that they have several spacious portapotties near the playground and market, and they also have portapotties throughout the fields so you won't need to walk back to the main area if you or your kiddos need to go! Also, the ground is firmly packed all over, so you can easily push your kiddos around in a all-terrain friendly jogging stroller like a Bob or pull them in a sturdy wagon. Also worth noting that they have a private booth area near the main row of portapotties and sinks to accommodate caretakers and mamas in need of a private diaper changing area of space to nurse.
