Yes, you are required to get a sales tax number/ certificate and report sales annually, bi-annually, or quarterly. Maine.gov has all the printable forms.

Is there persons that you can have grow your personal plants for you? I have my card but have no clue on growing so was wondering how or if you can have someone grow your plants for you?

Yes if you purchase from a medical dispensary. However there are plenty recreational adult use places open now too, only thing needed id ID and over 21.
