Was making calls for an elderly relative, and ask them to put a product at the courtesy desk, so he could just go in and pick it up. They were so nice about it, and went out of their way to find the product, and left it at the front desk 😊

Who doesn't make multiple trips to HD when working on home improvement projects? We love this store, they carry pretty much everything we need when renovating a bathroom, or fixing a basement. I love their generous return policy.

Really not impressed with Home Depot and their customer service lately. Purchased a small chest freezer from the Waterford location and it was damaged out of the box and they had no others in stock. Called this Middletown location to see if they had one in stock and they confirmed after 45 min of being on hold that they had one left. I asked if they could hold it for me as I live an hour away but would be there ASAP. The associate (Ashley) said no. I asked could I purchase it over the phone and they hold it and she said maybe. I asked if prior to me purchasing over the phone if someone there could inspect it for me to ensure it also wasn’t obviously dented/damaged like the previous one I just purchased. Ashley said that they weren’t going to do that for someone and that I needed to just come in the store and look at it but she can’t guarantee it would still be here once I arrived because it would likely go “any minute”. I’m sorry, what? Home Depot’s employees can’t tell me if there is no obvious physical damage to an appliance they have in stock? Really disappointed in the poor customer service that seems to be a common thing with Home Depot associates these days.

I needed to have some keys made. Someone came to assist me very quickly and explained to me how to get them through the self checkout. I appreciated the service. Extremely friendly and helpful.
