I have stayed here twice and loved it both times. What a great and historical place. The rooms are nice but BE SURE and ask for your own bathroom! Some of the rooms have "shared" privy's. I am one of those that likes to have my own. The wine list wonderful and the food so delicious. Definitely would stay here again

This is the hub of many of the good things happening in communities all over Oregon. You can tell what kind of place it is by the smiles and fellowship you see on practically everyone you see walking in and around it.

the women's equivalent of The Masons is The Order Of the Eastern Star. whether or not they are worthy has nothing to do with being a woman or not. they have their own group call The Order of the Easter Star.

You should check with your Texas Grand Lodge Outreach Services.

Does anyone know if there was a Masonic temple located in Gales creek? My great great aunt was a worthy matron in Eastern Star and a member of Rebekka group. She lived in Gales Creek in the 1920’’s and might a lodge have once existed there?

When I was a Mason in California we didn't do it but here we do. As to why I'm not sure. It may be a way to show respect. We cross our arms Left uppermost over right.
