There seem to be many paths with a few bridges on the area demarcated by Maps. There is a small pond with small deck/ jetty that is relatively scenic. I tried hard to find my way to the river side without a trail map and sadly could not do it within 30 min. After greeting a nearby resident passing by, they explained how it's done. You need to use a trail right on the North edge of the property. There really should be a trail map on a board to show how it is done.

I see people are asking where the entrance to the park is. You enter from the parking lot of the Audubon Society.

Can't actually find the entrance to this place. Ppl who live next to it don't know what I'm talking about when I ask. 🤷‍♀️

Questions & Answers

Can you kayak?

Not really. It would be a long portage up steep hills before you reached a put-out. There's a public kayak launch at The Glastonbury Boathouse at Riverfront Park. You can also put out at the ferry landing in South Glastonbury, or Point Rd. behind Stop and Shop.
