If no stars were available, that is where I would rate this location in Newington. As a health-care worker to hear we are busy and hear them make excuses why they can't assist you is so sad and overall unprofessional. I contacted this location in the morning 8am, to see if they took an insurance and cover dually eligible patients. I was told we are busy, you need to call your insurance. However, I made an appointment there and didn't want to waste time and go where it's not accepted. When I arrived the same representative is telling me the insurance is inactive and I need the card from last year which is cancelled. I just used the insurance 2 weeks ago. What happened to customer service and assistance when your patients are sick? There was no one in the waiting area this could've been handled more professionally instead she wanted to argue that the insurance is inactive. Meanwhile I went to Premier Urgent care and had no issues with insurance and was not given a hassle. Michele you need some training on how to treat clients and how to better manage time for patients when you're busy or not busy.

DO NOT GO HERE!! I scheduled an appointment at this urgent care clinic on Fenn road for my 5 year old daughter. We saw Nicholas, aprn who checked out her ears and informed us that she had a bad infection. He prescribed her amoxicillin and a steroid cream for her lips due to reported pain. He seemed unsure of himself as he diagnosed her with an ear infection and something told me to get a second opinion. After we left I called her pediatricians office since they had just opened and obtained a same day sick appointment for my daughter. Turns out her ears are perfect, no infection at all. The MD was very concerned this facility would make such a grave error and prescribe my child a medication she did not need. On top of that, he could have missed something even more serious with her. Not only did she not need the amoxicillin, which by the way he prescribed incorrectly given her weight, our MD would never prescribe a steroid for the lips let alone the face. I emailed the supervisor of the staff who informed me she could not help me but that she would pass this email on to someone who could. It has been 2 days and I have not heard from anyone! STAY AWAY

One of the worst urgent cares around. Receptionist is very nasty and ghetto. You book appointments and arrive on time but due to her slow work ethics and taking her time with the people in line you end op past your arrival time then get told your late and they couldn’t hold you appointment

Most major insurance companies' urgent care co-pays range between $20 - $100 for a variety of services. This is an estimate only. Please contact your health plan to determine the actual amount of your co-pay based on your policy coverage.
