Unprofessional, non responsive and abuse of power by not enforcing all rules to ALL owners. Why doesn’t the board members follow the rules too?

AWFUL! I am currently trying to get a hold of a manager and the receptionist will not give me a name of one and keeps asking me why I am calling. She also does not answer the phone any longer and keeps sending me to random people's voicemails. I am on the phone now and this is what is happening. I have never heard of this before! ugh..

I’ll start off by saying I’ve never left a bad review before because I understand no company is perfect and most do their best. HOWEVER, I would give 0 stars to Accell if that was an option. This is by far THE worst property management Company I have ever dealt with. If you have any choice at all, do NOT use this company’s “services”. They are unresponsive, unhelpful, and are impossible to ever get ahold of. They will never return your calls or emails. If you’re lucky, you may get a one liner letter in the mail explaining why they can’t/won’t do something. Most recently, our HOA recurring auto payments stopped going through. Good thing I noticed because apparently they updated their software system in May with NO COMMUNICATION prior, effectively wiping out all current accounts and requiring set up of new ones. I won’t be surprised if they try and charge us late fees for their mistake. They HAVE done that before, claiming they need the Board’s approval just to deny your request 6 months later. Beware!

This Property Management company is relatively new to overseeing our association in Aliso Viejo. Their response time and sense of urgency are very poor. I was in the process of getting my house refinanced and not only is their fee for the HOA certification ridiculously high ($285) but my ability to sign my loan docs was consistently pushed back due to their lackadaisical attitude. I rarely write negative reviews as I worked in customer service for many years. However, their inaction should not be excused or tolerated. I will be addressing this at the next board meeting and Debbie who oversees this department should get additional help as these matters are time sensitive. There are better management companies available.
