U-Haul Storage of Sea Tac

On june 14th I placed a reservation for a 6x12 trailer to be picked up at the seatac location on June 26th. I got a call while I was on a plane on June 24th telling me I would have to pick it up it Chelan. That is a 6 hour round trip. I only have a limited amount of time to pack my things and move. I do not have time to make a 6 hour round trip. The customer service agent and the employees at the sea tac location did nothing to rectify the situation. I had to cancel the reservation. What's the point of making a reservation if it can't be fulfilled?

Rented a truck for 4 hours, then needed to extend it so I called the.uhaul call center... Few hours after I was suppose too originally have the truck back I got.a call from some adolescent who was working the late shift , who proceeded too threaten me if I didnt have the truck back by 9am he was surely gonna charge me double.price was a little.embarrassed by the call so I tool the truck back immediately, so needless to say I will be canceling all the future trips from haul and will be letting all my friends and co workers know not to go here again!

Went in this morning, 10/14/21, and had THE RUDEST service from a man who when asking if they had pillow top mattress plastic bag covers instead of just normal size ones.. The guy told us that “the 10 inch long” one would cover all beds and when we said that 10” was the height not length he raised his voice and said they don’t carry them. Cool, all we wanted to know. Then he didn’t look us in the eye or talk the rest of the time until he told us our total..which we stood in silence for 3 minutes(holding a $20 bill out in view)…to wait for him to scroll in the computer not telling us if he even heard us say we only wanted these two items or let us know what he was even doing.) Then told us WE DONT ACCEPT CASH! Went same day to the uhaul in Burien and had the complete opposite service and the ladies were helpful and showed us a bag they carry that would serve the purpose for a pillow top mattress.

Was purchasing a trailer nearby and turns out the gentlemen didn’t know what size ball it took. I needed a 1 7/8” ball and called them to see what they had. David was very helpful and told me to come on by and he would get me setup. Arrived minutes later and David had me setup with a new ball and on the road in minutes. Great service and really appreciate the extra efforts on David’s part! Next time I’m traveling through I’ll keep this location in mind. Thanks!
