It was an easy hike in a gem of a State Park. This park caters to hikers as there are picnic tables and a few shelters for them. The scenic overlook at Mohawk Tower features a couple of picnic tables so that you could enjoy your trail lunch while taking in the views.

This is my second time going here to snowboard. I really like this place. Doesn't get as crowded as the other places, say in Jersey. The snow was fresh and the trails were well kept. Doesn't have any extreme trails, highest I saw was black diamond, no pipes. I'm an intermediate snowboarder so that was perfect for me.

Mohawk is a great mountain in Connecticut. Fantastic to have a good day with some challenging options. Rentals here are of decent quality and not the no name boot you get at big resorts. Free lift ticket for active duty military.
