The room smelled really bad. The beds were really hard. That was the best part of the stay. The manager James is rude and his manager Helen was even more rude. Without all the details I would just say stay anywhere else or be disappointed. If you choose not to listen to what I say and stay anyway you will for sure regret your decision especially if you have to deal with either manager mentioned.I stay where I'm welcome, and this place was terrible. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Positive: It was exactly what we wanted - a medium priced hotel with free parking and a free breakfast. The location worked for us. Only 15 minutes to where we wanted to go. Negative: They did not check the bottles in the shower to see if they had to be filled. Two out of the three were empty. If you are going to give something for free at least make sure it is full.

Positive: It was clean. Negative: They tried to turn us away, saying you were not allowed to stay unless you lived outside a 30-mile radius of the hotel. Their policy was to refund your money and not let you stay. Fortunately, I had booked this as a surprise for my wife, so they let her.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. It is absolutely spotless. The staff are extraordinary. They are pleasant and so polite. The breakfast is delicious. Kudos to the Holiday Inn Express at the Waterfront in Munhall, PA in Pittsburgh.
