We visited the Vinoski Winery today for an antique car show and food truck event. It was beautiful ! There was tons of parking . It was very busy but the lines went fast for the wine and wine tasting. They had a love band playing which was awesome as well . There was tons of seating with tables and umbrellas took cool down and relax at. The bathrooms were huge although there were only two actual restrooms to use , which created a line. The grounds were very well kept and the the overall experience was lovely . We can't wait to go back again !

On a scale of documentaries to romance novels, Vinoski Winery is a collection of summer poetry. This sprawling property offers the perfect location for that summertime escapade of wine, live music, friends, and laughter. Tucked south of the city, the gorgeous building sits atop a hill, and you don't see it until you make the turn into the winding driveway. I have only attended evening events here, but I have loved how you can bring your own food, chairs, blankets. For me, it's reminiscent of a summer day sitting by the Danube River in Vienna, sipping wine with friends with the general ambient sounds. Vinoski does have tables -- both patio tables and picnic tables; however, some events require that you monetarily reserve the patio tables. Alcohol can be purchased on the lower level of the house. Sometimes they have the options set up outside, and sometimes purchases need to be made inside. I have enjoyed every wine I've had there, but I particularly enjoy their Blueberry and Cherry wines. Parking is on the lawn. Portapotties line one side of the back driveway; however, there are public bathrooms on the lower level of the house. Pro Tip: Take your own food (sometimes they have a food truck or their pizza place open) and your own seating. Groups chose to play frisbee on lower lawns (seriously this property is HUGE), and if you plan to stay late, bring bug spray or a candle.

This is a beautiful place, but that's about all I can say for the positive. Parking is awful. They tried to expand it by making spaces on a steep hillside with large gravel rocks that are terrible to walk on. We went for what was advertised as "Rib Fest" and a tribute band last night. There were TWO (which does NOT make it a fest, btw) food trucks supplying ribs, chicken, etc, so the normal "kitchen" was closed and not second food. We got there at 6:30, which is when it was supposed to start, got a bottle of wine, set up our chairs and got in line for food. Which is where we stood for the next 90 minutes, only to be told when we FINALLY got close to the front of the line, that the only thing the truck had left were chicken nachos and not very many of those! We did NOT get to sit down & enjoy the band we paid nearly $30 to see. We came right after work, assuming we'd enjoy ribs, brisket, chicken, SOMETHING BBQ'd, and we were left out $60 (for tickets, a bottle of wine and a beer) and starving. While other local wineries may not look like a "castle", they do tend to take better care of their patrons. After yesterday's experience, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Enjoyed my visit Saturday. It was so beautiful with the fresh coat of snow. The employees were very helpful when asked questions. A gentleman was singing on the main level and radio on downstairs where the wine tasting was. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing sitting by the fireplace. I look forward to seeing this place during the summer.

Questions & Answers

Do you cancel if it rains? Can we bring a pop up tent?

That is a question for the winery itself. Suggest you call them, but their patio tables have umbrellas.

We are coming there for a Drusky event. Can we bring a picnic? Is it BYOB? Do you serve food? Thank you

They did have pizza for sale and you can bring food. For our event, no one looked in our bags at all which was odd. You can bring food in, but not drinks. We brought water bottles though, and probably could have smuggled in booze. Wine was delicious!

They don't have any rooms to rent at the winery but there are plenty of places in a 20 mi radius.
