My experience was not recent but it was not good either. I took my F-150 in for brakes. The receptionist was nice, the place was clean and organized. The tech drove my truck in the bay and I took a walk up and down Main St. I returned and shortly thereafter received my keys and my bill. I paid with my credit card. About 6 or 7 weeks later I was having work done on my truck at Tunkhannock Ford and I mentioned to them that the brakes were new but didn't feel right. Imagine my horror when they called me back into the shop to show me the brakes were installed wrong. Not one but all four. The guys there were laughing as they said whoever changed them was not very smart and had to have a really hard time getting them on like that. They wore uneven, at a slant, very quickly. they redid my brakes and boxed up all the parts. I took the parts back to Mavis and the runaround started. I will have to talk to my boss. The boss said they have to speak with the regional manager. Eventually they gave me credit but, even though their bill was instantly charged to my account, the credit could take 7 to 10 days. I eventually got the credit but seriously doubt I will ever give them any future business.

After reading such positive reviews, I opted to take my sons car here for an alignment rather than go to our regular garage. His appointment was at 10am and the mechanic said it would take about an hour. By 2pm the car was still not even looked at. The mechanic said he was busy and the other guy with him didn't know how to do alignments. He said he'd look at it asap. Well, 10 minutes later he returns to say the car is fine and doesn't need an alignment. He could not produce the report showing the car is good. I'm not convinced it was even looked at. I'm so disappointed by the service and time wasted.

First time visit to Mavis tire in Dickson City and the employees could not have been nicer. I had a small leak in one of my tires and they were quick to fix and have me on the road in minutes. Will be my stop for car related issues going forward. Thanks again for your attention and care to my car needs.

Holly attend to all my needs in a very professional manner. She was able to review what was wrong with my tire and get it fixed by her tech. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We always have great customer service when we come. Thanks Holly for all you did to get me back on the road.
