I was visiting from New Jersey and my daughter-in-law suggested I take my grandson. Needless to say there aren't many direction's where to park resulting to my car having a $150 parking ticket( MAYBE because I had New Jersey plates and NOT Connecticut) when I returned to it. Also, when I tried to go to dispute it, they said that I would have to come back for the appeal. Very upset and also spoke to a police officer who stated that yes the parking there(at the beach-park) needed to be revised.

There was no sand just rocks and pebbles , no direction where to park if park in a residency they’ll give you $150 ticket there’s no sign on where to park , Google brings you straight to the residence parking since there is no one outside telling you where to go or any visible signs. when we got to our car and saw the $150 ticket we went to talk to the man who was working there and he said there’s signs but when I went to look there was clearly no visible signs for anything or where to park he was also very rude and did not want to help more than 10 cars had tickets this park is a complete scam food was overpriced and they were sold out of most options I would never return nice beach but the whole experience ruined it for me water was also dirty

Beautiful nice beach. Parking for non residents is $65 but it is worth spending a day at a nice beach. We had a great time. Nice pier where you can fish and just view the open water.

Yes you can use the grills there or bring your own if you prefer. First come first serve to get tables and grills. It's on the sand under the trees. If you have your own grill you can see it up away from the beach in the grass area. It's close to restrooms as well. Set hammocks or table cloths on the picnic tables if you want. Enjoy! Also extra fees for the tables. I believe cost is per table.
