The worst service and food in a long time. They were out of most dishes. What they had fish and shrimp was low quality and tasted like it was frozen supermarket grade food. I had to wait almost an hour. I could have cooked better food in that amount of time myself. It was nasty and overpriced. The quality of food would make me think that Chef Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares needs to visit this, because they don't care about repeat business or the customer experience. I would assume Any good review of this place at this point is fake. Or they changed chefs and the new chef should be nowhere near a kitchen.

I hate to give bad reviews but our experience this evening was beyond reproach. Food was medicore at best and service was even worse. Took a long time to have our order taken and there was only one other table being served. Took a very long time for the food to be served. One meal was warm, one the center was still cold, and two hot. Flavor on all was only mediocre, my feeling is that most of our meals were prepared from frozen foods. They did not even have French fries. Waiter seemed to do his best to avoid coming to our table until food was ready to come from the kitchen. We used to eat at this establishment fairly regularly, no desire to return after this experience.

Cleaned up the interior (bar area) since it was called Southside but ultimately the same decor and menu. The woman (assumed owner) was not the most professional. It is a Mom& Pop place, so expect her to run out of menu items and conduct operating procedures right in front of the customers. The male waiter was extremely nice and seemed to run the front of the house completely solo. No other waitstaff or bartender. He did the seating, made drinks, took orders, and ran the food. Food was mediocre. Prices could be cheaper, especially for a cup of soup and half sandwich.

Love this place. Plenty to chose from on a reasonably priced menu. I was impressed with their wide selection of food. I dont drink beer but I thought of friends who do as they have so much to pick from. Please promote our local restaurants and make this one a stop.
