We take mom's to box springs to to feed the donkeys. There's so much funny great trails and love those donkeys.

always come here when i need to relax and just look at the view or when i feel like hiking. the place is full with beautiful mules and the sunsets here are amazing ! it’s just nice to be around a view as pretty as this one although i don’t think cars are allowed up here anymore :( other than that it’s a beautiful place with very pretty sights

Went around 5PM. Not crowded at all. Nice views of the surrounding cities. Road was dirt to get to the parking lot atop the hill. Be careful of the donkeys roaming the road. They don't seem to be fenced in anywhere.
Yes, but they are supposed to be leashed. There is a lot of wildlife, including wild burro, coyote, bobcat, and even mountain lion. Also keep in mind that snakes are out this time of year.
Its safe during daylight hours although it Is a remote area. It is always wise to have company in case anything was to happen. (Falls, snakes, or anything)
Im not sure but I doubt it. There is a park manager you can probably call.
I saw there are snakes in the reviews. Which months should I come here to avoid snakes? Thank you!

Who do you call when you see something in Box Springs Regional that is illegal ie... riding dirt bikes, 4x4 off road vehicle or even like illegal dumping??
