Two Men and a Truck

To say that my experience with this business was 1 star is an over statement. I would have given 0 stars if I was allowed. We scheduled a packing service the day before our scheduled move. On the day of the move, the movers quickly realized that the company underestimated the size of the move the day previous and brought the wrong truck. As a “resolution” the Company said they would complete the move two days later free of charge. When I explained that (1) not only had I paid a premium for packing & reviewing the apartment the day before, (2) the movers spent an extra 2 hours re arranging the truck, replacing items back into my apartment and speaking with the front office about the mess up, and (3) I would now have to take time off work to complete the move, the Company threw up their hands and (1) removed a1/2 hour from the bill and (2) said that the free move on Monday was my only compensation. This half hour reflected a coffee break for the movers, which is expected and reasonable, Despite repeatedly explaining that this was not compensation, and that I wanted additional time off of the bill to account for the wasted time the movers spent figuring out their mess up, a customer service rep told me that I am “lucky” that I was not charged for Mondays move, even though any rational person would expect this to be done, since I was already paying for it. Despite this, I still paid a generous tip to the two packers, three movers on Saturday and three movers on Monday (the free day), because I respect and honor people’s time and work. This company however does not respect its customers time and money, and I would not recommend anyone use them since they do not hold themselves accountable.

Before the move, coordination with the office was seamless and exceeded all expectations. Getting a quote and moving day plan was quick and easy, then they were very accommodating when I had some unexpected changes. During the move, the movers were friendly, responsible, and efficient. They gave every item the right amount of care to ensure confidence in a safe delivery, then still finished sooner than expected. The actual cost was much lower than the time-dependent cost range provided in quote. I could not be more pleased and I plan to work with Two Men and a Truck next time I move.

Did a move from Madison to Chatham and had a crew of 4 guys led by Justin. His crew included Dante, Chris and Nick. The entire crew was fantastic. They worked super quick and efficient. They were all so respectful and nice and made sure everything that needed to be moved was moved to the right spots. They utilized the one truck to its max efficiency. We came in under the estimate time, which saved our family a lot of money. Cannot thank this company and that crew enough. Great team and company! Would highly recommend

They were fantastic. Arrived within window on packing day and were fast but packed carefully around me while I worked. Moving day right on time and quick!. Worked with me in what I wanted at front of my storage unit and the back of it. Great guys
