Cannon Beach Hardware and Public House

Perhaps not the first choice for food , considering this is a hardware store and there are a lot of other cute joints in the area but once you get over that hang-up , the food itself is good. We came here for lunch because all other sit-down places in the neighborhood were full . The order kiosk is inside the shop and the menu is somewhat limited. We got the fish and chips, with a plate of chips and salsa along with an IPA. Seating is provided outside and is somewhat limited but we were lucky enough to get one . Our food came out fairly quickly and steaming hot. Although the salsa looked or tasted , nothing like a salsa , everything else tasted fantastic. The fish was extremely well coated and fried to perfection and the fries were crunchy and well-seasoned . Big portion sizes as well . The sandwiches and burger on the menu also looked pretty tempting. COVID-19 protocols were being followed, everyone had their masks on . I do have one suggestion for the staff to at least clean up the tables in between customers, because I did not see that happening at all as people came in and left .

Had a great lunch here. I had the hot pastrami sandwich and my friend had the patty melt. Both were awesome. We sat out on the patio under the shade and it was delightful. So many options on the menu, it was hard to choose. Would highly recommend.

Interesting public house with a small selection of beers inside a hardware shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Very nice staff, food was standard, nothing extra special, i did not enjoy the fish and chips as the fish did not have much seasoning but overall a decent stop along the way, seems like a local's kinda place

Taste of Food:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Fried seafood is a must! Very Juicy! And change the chip to Cajun tots! I am taking a way a star because I feel like they gave me Lays chip for with my chicken strip😭) Environment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (At first I thought that’s a hardware store, but then I saw people eating outside, then I realize they are a restaurant too😂. )
