My wife and I had a lesson. Our instructor was knowledgable and communicated very well. It was my wife's first time doing anything on a board while I knew how to surf, windsurf, wakeboard, and kiteboard. But I still learned a lot because stand up paddleboarding is its own thing. We both had a great time and are grateful.

Great place. They rent out the best surfing gear in the area, very close to the beach. Barkley is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend it.

Christian made us feel at home as soon as we arrived to shop. He was super nice and helpful. My boyfriend rented a soft board for 2 hrs and a wet suit. We were also able to purchase California style flip flops which gave my bf the whole Californian experience. Truly a pleasant experience. Ty !!

When you meet at the shop you should be wearing your mask and depending on whether you're there for a paddle boarding lesson you'll meet your instructor in the shop. After which, you'll meet them at the marina for your lesson where you'll spend all your time in the water without a mask but, seeing as you're in the ocean it's not that hard to maintain a safe distance. Also, since the lessons are early morning there aren't many people in the Marina when you're there however, there are sea lions sun bathing. :)
