I used to stay here at the motor lodge numeral of times. I had never had a problem with the room . The staff and management are the nicest people I ever met I would recommend the belmar motor lodge it's on the coast of the jeresy shore

Great little place to stay. Vending machines and a pool is all you really need. Great customer service. Rooms were clean and neat. Good view of the marina.

Management is very unprofessional and literally thieves. We planned our trip to Belmar for couple events on Friday June 3rd and Saturday June 4th. We had our reservation at this hotel in this duration. Unfortunately, one of the Friday event got canceled. So I called the hotel on Thursday to see if there is any way we can get refund or reschedule our stay. Justin was the person I spoke with. I knew it was non-refundable but still want to see if they can help us in any way. He said that it's not. And he said that he will check with his manager and give us confirmation in 30mins. Didn't hear anything back from him. So I called the hotel again on Friday to make sure we have reservation before traveling as it's is 2 hours drive from our place and because we didn't want to waste money even though the event was canceled. And Riggie (if that's her name) said there is no reservation under my name. And said that we will refund you the amount. 3 days later I get email saying that they won't process any refund. When I called them again today Mr Justin said "why did you call again on Friday when I said you can come". First- he said he would call and confirm reservation in 30mins (didn't get anything). And he canceled it too. I hope you enjoy a good dinner with those $150. Jerks.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Room was clean and location convenient. It's an older place for sure, but spacious room with ample free parking and easy access to train station across the street. I'm easy to please and as such would stay here again despite the building's age.
