Time Wise Jewelers is one of rare circumstances where the new version is actually better than the old version – not that I in any way disparage the old owners. The old owners were wonderful but the new owners are wonderfullerˏ at least for our family. I've peppered TWJ v.2.0 with a pretty strange assortment of repair requests recentlyˏ and if they can’t do it themselvesˏ they have access to an array of artisans who can. [Considerˏ if you willˏ that TWJ v.2.0 rescued a hundred-year-old pocket watch thoughtlessly SUPERGLUED shut at some terrible point in its past.] Prices are really goodˏ and items are returned meticulously cleaned and polished. They have a beautiful array of pieces [and prices} on site for all genders. I am notˏ by any stretch of the imaginationˏ a big jewelry ownerˏ but for meˏ having a jeweler I trust is as important as a car mechanic or dentist I trust. I'll never go anywhere else.

Boy, this place has gone downhill with the new owners. I've been a Timewise customer for 16 years. One afternoon last week, I brought my Citizen diving watch in for a new wrist band pin. They replaced it but it popped open on my way home. When I called for help, the manager said she would repair it, but only if I could get there 20 minutes before they closed, promptly at six. So I brought it back, they replaced the pin, but it too popped open and flew off on my way home - this time when I was riding my bike down Genesee during rush hour, at top speed, and I could not find it. When I called to relate the story, the manager said, "too bad, so sad" - no condolences, no admission of faulty repair work, no offer to replace the watch or at least offer a discount on a replacement watch. Nada. Zilch. Zero..... I'd suggest any other jeweler but Timewise. PS - I now have a new Garmin watch and I love it!
