I recently purchased 3 rooms of furniture from Ashley Furniture in San Marcos, Ca. What a pleasant experience. The person who assisted me, his name was Curtis, was so helpful, very friendly, let me take my time and never pushy or hurrying me along. Had great suggestions and assured me my order would be delivered on time, which it was. Delivery was amazing, quick and professional. All furniture perfect no damages. I had shopped at Ashley Furniture several years ago and still love the furniture I bought. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Curtis!

The good: Hakim and Chriss were great to work with. Unfortunately, their glowing review will be overshadowed by the horrific delivery experience we had to deal with. The bad: The delivery team and distribution center made this the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had to endure. They failed to deliver our couch not once but twice resulting in us being without furniture for three weeks. The first time they didn’t even try to get the couch into our apartment, they assumed it wouldn’t fit and stopped at the bottom of our stairs telling us we’d need to pick something else out. We had done our due diligence and took our measurements ensuring it would fit. They refused to deliver the couch then noted in their system that WE refused delivery which we were informed of when we went back in to select a new couch. The second time, after confirming our delivery window by email and by phone, the drivers never came then proceeded to tell me it couldn’t be delivered because of a stain after calling support to find out what the issue was. There was no phone call, no email, no communication. We ended up cancelling our order entirely and taking our business to Bob’s Discount Furniture down the road.

7/6/21 Update: Ashley Furniture FORGOT to issue my refund so they have been holding hundreds of dollars with no intention of returning it till I had to call 3 times to find out where my money was. No customer service from this disgraceful company. 👎 Stay away from Ashley Furniture 👎 Their furniture is low quality and damaged on arrival multilpe times. Waste of time buying from Ashely Furniture. I ordered a bedroom set from Ashely Furniture. First delivery had a marked up headboard, damage to the dresser, and dent in the framing of the mirror. It was a joke that this would even be attempted to be delivered. We refused everything. They didn't seem to care that we had to refuse everything from our first shipment. We scheduled the second delivery and more damaged items showed up a week later. Stains on the headboard, damage to nightstands. They even sent the SAME damaged dresser that I refused the first time. They made no attempt to fix the dresser and sent the same damaged dresser the second time around. Customer service was useless recommending we have a technician clean and fix our brand new furniture. Brand new furniture should not need fixing day one. Manager said he would "send an email to customer service" after second damaged delivery. That was the best they could do to help a customer who had two rounds of very damaged terrible furniture. Do not shop at Ashley Furniture.
