Had the Tuscan Spiced Eggplant and Veggie Grilled Panini and was delighted how flavorful the seasoning was! The atmosphere is really cute and artsy, but best of all was the attentive and courteous staff. I cannot wait to go back to try their massive assortment of bread!

Found this “pit stop” on our way to the 6th bridge (Vermont St) of our urban hike. It was refreshing! Lots of choices in the menu. Food tastes good and service was friendly and quick. This was on 2/14/22 around 1pm and there were several tables available, some with partitions for social distancing.

This place is an absolutely great find in a city where the coffee scene is plentiful but the bakery scene lacking. Stepping into the store front, I was amazed at the size of the place, and the selection of fresh baked bread, pastries, and breakfast options. The quiche is phenomenal if you can get it before it sells out (which it often does because its so good.) The bacon and cheese scone is my favorite, along with their croissants of many varieties. Staff is super friendly even when they're busy, and there is plenty of seating both inside and out. Great European bakery vibes.

A lovely neighborhood French bakery. Fresh baked breads and French inspired pastries daily. Breakfast specials served before 1130 for under 10$. Excellent selection of sandwiches including vegetarian options and high quality cured meats available both cold and hot pressed (panini). Make any sandwich a combo with a salad or a soup for a couple dollars more. Pleasant indoor and outdoor covered seating. Expect a line at lunch or on weekends. Parking available in adjacent lot, free up to one hour.

The standard. Masks, six feet, outdoor seating.

I stopped buying the ciabatta because the holes were as big as 2 quarters side to side! Now I buy the French white, but the holes are getting bigger with every loaf I get - about 3 a week. Has anyone noticed this, too?

Wow! Maybe you should find another French bakery. There's a new one over and I'll Liberty Station in Point Loma. I don't recall the name sorry. There's also Gourmet Deli in La Jolla Girard that's been there forever and they have delicious Bakery Goods. I haven't had any problems also good sandwiches in both places. Good luck!

Mothers Day restaurant reservations are always needed at popular places. Call them and see if they even accept reservations ... I doubt they do... it's not a "waiter takes your order" type of place. You order and pay at the counter
