4.5 loop with interior short trails. (Can make it 5 miles) Around 640 ft EG **No Dogs or Bikes Allowed** This is one of my rotation hikes in the valley. Such a sweet lil gem in a beautiful area of Oregon countryside. Moderate to Easy Hiking, around 640 ft eg. All up and down, so I would consider this trail on the easier side. Even stopping for snacks and looking at the wildlife, I can do this hike in less than 2 hours. My favorite direction is starting the West side of the perimeter loop clockwise. This starts the trail at lush forests and hits K.T. Peak early on (cooler) through a series or switchbacks and gorgeous hillsides. Lots of running water on this side in rainy season. This direction returns to the parking lot from the South East side of the loop and finishes off in the meadows and countryside section of ths truly varied trail. 👌 Deer, rabbits, squirrels/chipmunks, bull frogs, birds galore would make it fun for the kiddos and adults alike.

Gorgeous trail and lots of wildlife. In addition to numerous birds, snakes, squirrels, and frogs, we came upon 4 deer no more than 5 yards off the trail!

Beautiful, calming with excellent trails. If I lived locally, I would do walk here weekly. The birds are so entertaining and the birdsong brings cheer. Walking on the trails feels like meditation. The first time I’ve ever seen a banana slug was here! There were also reddish snails. My favorite bird was one running on top of the Lilly pads and flipping them up to look underneath. The forest is filled with ferns that makes me imagine being in Jurassic park. The day we went it was windy and randomly sprinkling. The wind whistled through the treetops as they swayed to and fro. Beautiful, intense, yet relaxing.
