What a lovely place. We sat outside under the trees and we had a really great time doing our tasting. Employees were nice and knowledgeable. The wines were good, but not what we were looking for: explosion of flavors to start, but strong alcohol on the finish. However, we could not pair any food with the tasting as there is a 24 hours notice and pre-order, really disappointing.

Beautiful spot. We were there for a dinner. It was early spring, so still a bit cold outside. I swear it was colder inside the building than outside, which detracted a bit from the meal. Even with space heaters everywhere, it was like a tomb. The wine was good, though.

Can't say enough about this vineyard, family owned with environmentally sound practices. Very rare to see a vineyard not using insecticides/herbicides to grow their grapes annually. Very friendly, and the facilities are breath taking!

Absolutely lovely tasting experience. Dominic talked me through about five wines. Knowing each wine's story really helped me enjoy them even more. I felt like their currated service was really exceptional. Everyone I talked with was super friendly, and prices were great. I left with 6 bottles I will cherish. Kudos Maysara Winery team. Thank you.

Does anyone know how to open the wine bottle. It has a lid on it that won't allow a corkscrew through

Hi Phillip! It sounds like you may have one of our Asha or Delara pinot noir bottles in hand which comes enclosed with a glass cork. The black foil cap can be loosened by lightly working it side to side. After it is loosened, a quick pull-up reveals the glass cork underneath the foil. From there, we use our thumb to push up on the lip of the glass cork and open the bottle. If you have any trouble, please feel free to give us a call at the winery at 503-843-1234 and we would be happy to assist! Fun fact: The glass corks can be re-used as wine stoppers in any bottles that are either glass cork or cork enclosed!

Their website doesn't show that Florida has a distributor, but that could be old info. Contact them directly at: https://maysara.com/contact
