My hubby is 6'6 with a 43 waist. Banana Republic has up to 44 waist in tall men jeans including their travelers pants. They fit him very perfectly & he is extremely happy. Ive been trying to get him to try clothes from Banana Republic and FINALLY.... plus the jeans were on sale...

Meh. Banana Republic is quite possibly the most overrated clothing store, and this one location didn't live up to my already quite low expectations. The selection of clothes was pretty underwhelming (I've seen better inventory at a freaking Old Navy!). I couldn't believe how one of the store workers treated an old lady who was trying to return some clothes she got online. I'd never seen such rudeness in customer service, and wouldn't normally leave a review for how someone else was treated, and much less for a clothing store, but this instance left me quite mad. Please be kind to all customers, even those who are there to do things other than buying. Ugh.

The staff here are always incredibly friendly and helpful! Whenever I’m shopping for my work wardrobe at Southpoint, I prefer Banana Republic to all other professional dress stores in the mall because I know the customer service is going to be on point. They help you find what you’re looking for, can help you select a dress pant style/fit, will start a room for you, fetch alternate sizes, help you locate an item you need at another BR location, etc. My only suggestion to the staff would be to ease up on the Banana Card pitches.. during my most recent visit, by the time I made it into the store, all the way back to the dressing room, and then back up to the register, I had at least 4 different staff members urge me to consider signing up for a card.

I had reached the state of gift-buying frenzy when I walked into Banana Republic. I had a long list of people to buy for and a limited budget. To my delight, they were offering irresistible sales. As I walked around the store looking for the perfect item for each person, the sales people were friendly and available, but were not pushy or overbearing. As they straightened merchandise on tables, keeping everything tidy and easy to see, they made light-hearted conversation and made it easy for me to ask questions, again without feeling pressured to hurry or to buy anything. They helped find sizes and colors. It felt like shopping with a friend. Then I arrived at the cash register, where the person ringing up my purchases went above and beyond any service I have ever received anywhere. She made sure I was able to use all my discount codes. She ran the gift receipts and carefully matched them to each article of clothing. She gave me gift boxes, and she did all of this with a smile. I can hardly wait to go back again to this store where I truly felt valued as a person and not just another customer.
