Just moved here from the DC area and saw that my new place was close to this location so I checked it out. Have heard that mountain biking is really popular in Spokane because of all the trails so I wanted to possibly get into it. Joe, Jose, and Harald that mainly work in the bike section of the store have been super helpful and patient with letting me test ride different bikes to see which ones I liked and even recommended to test ride just about every other type of bike to see what I really wanted to include hybrid bikes, e-bikes, etc. (only have ever rode a fixed/single gear in high school years ago). After test riding bikes at this location and other local bike shops I decided to get my bike at REI because of how helpful and informative all of them were. That, and the entry level REI branded bikes are really cheap and have decent components. Plus, their one year "warranty" if you're a member can't be beat. I initially ended up going with a mountain bike (DRT 1.1) and did some trails but ultimately decided today to go with a hybrid bike (CTY 1.1) due to me wanting to do more riding on pavement. The return and exchange of the bikes was super easy and I wasn't given any hassle. Can't emphasize enough how awesome the customer service is. Haven't even been here for a week and I already feel like I made a few friends. I'm also super happy with my bike and I can't wait to put a bunch of miles on it.

I always liked their products. Greats selection & competitive prices. Recently watched a informative video on road bikes and nothing but praises on the material they produced. I live in Canada, so MEC is the local compatible store. However, this one in Spokane is the one I would frequent the most. Great staff too

Friendly, helpful staff. Love that they sell used gear online and in store. Fantastic return policy. Pretty good selection between the online and in person stores. Great services in store like ski tuning and waxing, gear rentals, classes, trips, and more.

Love this store. I mostly come here for backpacking meals, they have a great selection and always have iso-fuel etc in stock. Can't beat their warranties on gear either 👌
